Finally landed a full-time, somewhat permanent job. Once the FTE status kicks in, I'll feel a whole lot better, but I'm still really relieved. I'm not really happy to be out of the Graphic department, but I still have time to draw, and get to see my friends most days, so until that full-time art position opens up, I'm rocking the A/V and facilities work.
I also had my birthday (day before) yesterday, which was pretty interesting... hard to believe I'm another year older and another year closer to... the inevitable.
I have a ton of projects I'm finished or partially finished with, so hopefully I'll get some of them put up here pretty soon.
I'd say something about Valentines day, but as usual, just an ordinary day.
Hope everyone out there is doing well, and if you're of a mind:

moveon.org  www.moveon.org is hosting a petition to maintain federal funding for Public Radio and Television (NPR and PBS); these stations represent us, and work hard to provide educational and progressive programming that act as a distinct counter-point to the commercialized thought-control radio and TV that dominates the airwaves.  We can't afford to be silent.

And once again, I am loosed from the security of gainful employment.  
The search for a new gig has begun in earnest, but alas, no bites yet.
If anyone is aware of a job opening in the graphic design or illustration field, or even someone willing to pay reasonably to have some artwork done, please let me know.

Outside of that, things are going well.  I've been out enjoying life, getting lots of drawing done, which should appear here soon (I promise), and even spending some time with a great girl.

Any who, hope everyone out there in the world is surviving.

And if anyone has some suggestions for artwork they'd like to see, reply to this thread and I'll see if I can oblige.

Thought it was about time to update this, have a ton of stuff from sketchbooks to scan and some digital WIPs that I need to prep (and hopefully finish) to post up here. Tough to find enough time to get it all done in the hours/day I'm not working (or playing video games, or reading).

P.S. If you haven't seen them yet, go check out Iron Man 2 and Hot Tub time Machine, they're both incredible.

Rebuilt my room and organized all of my papers, including the enormous stack of un-scanned artwork that needs a second look.  I'll have to find some time in the coming months...  

Also have at least a dozen scanned pieces that need to be adjusted or colored, so wish me luck in getting THAT out of the way.
